100wc week #6

                               the pickle contest 

"Okay," announced the host of the competition, "every year we do an apple hunt under water, but this year I've decided to change the tradition. We will be hunting for pickles!" "Pickles? Why pickles?" I asked, "Because after the hunt, you can eat them. Plus pickles are way better than boring apples! the hunt starts tomorrow get ready!" It was the day of the hunt. "Are you ready hunters? 3...2...1... GO! Everyone dived in. later I heard the horn everyone counted their pickles. I got 5 everyone else got 6. I was disappointed but I was so going to win next year!

    A very creative idea but it is missing the key part in the picture prompt: the legs with rubber boots. You last line wraps up your story well. Well written, keep the creative ideas coming.

Tree Yoga "1, 2,3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10!" I looked around a bush but instead of finding my sister I saw a bunch of trees doing yoga. "Alright, now push-ups," the teacher commanded. The trees got down and did push-ups. I laughed and decided to join them. I walked out of the bush and onto the field. "Back off!" One said. The teacher gasped. "I come in peace," I said, but they were gone. I started doing yoga by myself.

                          The Dentist "Come on," I said trying to get my little sister to listen to me as she stormed down the hallway. "What's so bad about going to the dentist? They won't kill you!"  "They scare me!" She screamed, "They are going to yank all my teeth out! And I won't be able to eat or talk! All of my friends will be laughing at me! And I-" "No they won't, don't be a baby." I answered, "They're just cleaning your teeth." "Well I'm not going!" She stomped into her room. As the door slammed I knew how she felt.
